The Inclusive Nature of God’s Kingdom
Matt. 13:31 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like to a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field:
Matt. 13:32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.
Isa. 27:6 He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
Kingdoms are like trees - Nebuchadnezzar
Man’s nature is to exclude rather than include. We take out rather than incorporate. We cut down rather than graft in. We burn out rather consuming in fire, as God is a consuming fire. Mainstreaming versus exclusion.
Dan. 2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
Num. 14:21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.
