The New Jerusalem Temple
Understanding New Jerusalem
(new City of Peace) is part of the vision of understanding what God will bring
to the earth at the consumation of the ages. This is the goal that Abraham
sought for, as we are told in Hebrews 11:10.
Be aware that God is a
creator and Jesus was said to be a carpenter.
Realizing that much of
Revelation is in metaphorical language, it remains for us to use the rest of
the scripture to interpret the book. The context of the scriptures will show us
the meaning of these words.
Rev 21:1-5
21: 2 Who is the Bride of Christ in this
metaphor?
21:3 This is the purpose of all creation. A fulfillment of the beginning in Eden with the exception that this is much better. Also, what is the tabernacle of God?

2Cor. 5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2Cor. 5:2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
2Cor. 5:3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
2Cor. 5:4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
Christ entered the Heavenly tabernacle, the current Throne of God, which is the pattern by which the first tabernacles were made. The next Tabernacle of God is the dwelling with men on the perfected earth in the consumation of all things.

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 14:4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
New Jerusalem is the Third Fulfillment of the Marriage ceremony and respresents the completion of the Kingdom restoration plan when it reaches it fulness and Christ yeilds up all to God. These and many other scriptures show us that the New Jerusalem is the very Sons of God in their fully manifested and realized form as God changes them. They will be for the healing of the nations of the earth. They will be the ministers of Christ and bring rivers of living water to the world (Ezekial 40-44) and Hab. 2:14 For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.

1Cor. 15:27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.
1Cor. 15:28
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also
himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all
in all.
2Cor. 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
2Cor. 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

Christ.
